Heat wave in Cannyland

A strong heatwave has hit Cannyland. Sure, it´s late summer but 65 degrees Celsius? That´s about 150 in Fahrenheit. You could fry an egg on top of the poor norns. Strangely enough they don´t seem unhappy about the heat, even though they´re burning up (metaphorically speaking) if they get near the desert area. I´ve been thinking of making a cob to cool things down but the weather change has brought back the rain so I´m keeping the norns away instead. Anyway, variation is fun.

One day when Fang was taking a ride in the elevator (or rather, had been forced by me to take a ride in the elevator), he got trapped in a wall. I was busy elsewhere, teaching one of Fang´s kids the basics of how to "eat food", and when I came back Fang had disappeared. I could see his speech bubbles however so I managed to rescue him by import/export. By that time he was pretty desperate. Anyone would agree that getting trapped behind a brick wall is no sunny experience..
