Kathy's
Journey

Kathy
and her friend Picard were journeying around Albia. Picard was
a teenager and Kathy had just turned an adult.
" Kathy, I can't keep up with you."
Picard complained.
" Okay I'll slow down," Kathy sighed.
They were only 1/4 of the way around Albia. And they had already
had to stop 3 times to eat and sleep. At
the rate they were going it would take them one hour (1/15 of
their life span) to totally go over every inch of their world.
Kathy smiled inwardly. She had planned this trip to get away from
Catra's many sons who were each planning to be her mate.
She remembered the hopeful looks plastered
on each of the young norns faces as the stood in a line hoping
to be picked to go on a trip with Kathy. All of them . except
Picard. He was sure she was going to pass him by, so he was staring
at his feet. When she chose him, his smile was like that of the
sun. Meanwhile all the other male norns were morose over the prize
they had lost. Well, she thought, they aren't going to get me.
She knew her heart was lost to Picard. Ever since she first saw
his furry little head, she knew he would be her future mate. He
was about to turn an adult so she was courting
him though he didn't know it.
" Kathy," Picard whined, snapping
her out of her daydream. " I'm sleepy."
" Okay, just get into this lift and sleep."
She said. So Picard got into the lift and promptly fell asleep.
Kathy hit the lift button and it brought them to the top of the
lighthouse. It was so beautiful that Kathy had to hold her breath.
She watched the waves crashing below her and levitated some carrots
up to her. She ate a couple and left some for Picard. She got
so drowsy that she fell asleep standing at the telescope.

minutes later.
Picard woke up and wolfishly gobbled down the
carrots. He looked at Kathy. "She is so nice to me,"
he thought, "but why?" She looked so beautiful
under the twin moons that he leaned over and kissed her. A kiss-pop
flooded his ears like music. Kathy was pregnant! Picard jumped
back. He knew that she could only get pregnant if . he was an
adult! She woke up and looked into his eyes. " I'm pregnant,
aren't I?" she whispered. Picard could only nod dumbly.
About 13 minutes later.
Kathy watched silently as a hole appeared in
the light green colored egg she had laid a while back. A tiny
turquoise head popped out of the hole and said, "em boop!"
It obviously was stuck so Kathy broke the egg in half and picked
her first child up.

Author's Note: As you may have noticed I have
changed Albia a little. Like twin moons, looking at feet, picking
up babies, and witch norns.
Actually the closest things to witch norns are norns that see
the Egg in the Sky. That happens in some of my norns and it gets
annoying.
