One fine day in the Albian Nursing Home an egg was being born. Hand was looking after some elderly norns, Elen and Olivia. Elen was getting very hungry but wouldn't eat. She had also laid the egg which was hatching. Hand checked the Health Kit.
"Elen's Hunger bar is full!" she gasped. "Elen push food!"
"Elen no," the Ron norn replied, grabbing a glass and drinking. "Well, at least she drinks well," Hand was quite relieved. Hand had forgotten all about the egg because she was so worried about Elen. The egg suddenly hatched. Elen, Olivia, Kimm and all the other norns rushed over to it. Out popped a little orange Ron norn. Hand was still rather worried, so called the norn a boring and simple name, Foxer. "I can always change it," she thought and left the little norn alone. Hand exported Foxer. "Sorry. No babies in this world."
Back in Albia, Elise, a banana norn, got pregnant! "Great!" laughed Hand. A while later an unusual egg was laid. It was orange with a blue circle on it. It was almost ready to hatch. Elise and CD, the parents, stood nervously by it. A little orange banana norn was born. Hand called it Roo. "Here's the birth certificates," she handed them to Elise. "Mother. Elise," the norn read out. "Fath...er. Oh Shee!"
"What norn?" asked CD.
"Father. FOXER?" Elise was very puzzled.
Hand told the two confused norns about Foxer.
"It's a newborn baby... of 4 minutes old... um, and it's a girl."
"It's not even in this world!" screamed CD.
Everyone in Albia was confused. CD had a baby with another girl, Emmie, and Foxer took the credit for that, too!
CD was upset, not to mention angry. "Hand!" he cried. "I wanna meet Foxer and hurt him! I mean...her!"
"No, CD," Hand scolded. "You may meet her, that's all."
And out of Import came the little norn.
"Hello, norn," CD smiled, trying to look sweet. It's not easy for a ron norn to look sweet though, so Foxer was very put off. "Norn," she babbled.
She opened her mouth, and to all the norn's horror, a fireball came blasting out.
Foxer realised she had made a mistake. "No! I shouldn't have done that..oh, shee!"
"You're a baby!" CD cried. "You can't say that!"
"I'm not a baby," Foxer scowled and suddenly grew until she was bigger than CD and Elise put together.
"I'm not a baby, or a ron norn, or a girl!" The...norn told the others sternly. "I'm a Dragon Norn. If you lay one finger on me, you will be cursed for eternity."
"Oh yeah?" CD said bravely.
"That's it! You are cursed. Now you cannot say what you mean, everyone will hate you. You are going to die because of this."
"Sure," CD nodded disbelievingly.
The next day, though, he wanted to tell Elise what he thought of her. He meant to say he loved her, but instead he said, "Elise worst enemy!
Yes, that's true! Yes!" He was meant to say that wasn't true.
CD went off and cried in the grendel tree. He felt so weak. Elise wasn't talking to him, he tried to be nice to other norns, they hated him and some hurt him. He couldn't carry on. He wished he had've been nicer to Foxer, and not upset and angry. He wished....
He closed his eyes. He was gone.

Friends Forever

One sunny morning in Albia, a green spotty egg was about to hatch next to the Temple. Hand had some new cobs and was busy trying them out. The pretzel vendor was a huge success- for miles you could hear, "Norn push vendor." Hand was having a great time and didn't even notice the egg. That is, until he saw the word 'BIRTH' appear. Hand was very annoyed. "Why does it have to be born NOW?" it sighed. As a good norn breeder though, it went and saw the new baby norn. It was a male Ron Norn, with forest norn legs. "What shall I call it? Oh, who cares?" Hand couldn't think of anything good, it still had lots of good cobs to give to the norns. "Luke," he simply said. Hand hovered over to the submarine bay cave. He saw an egg. It looked as if it would be born in, say, 8 minutes. Hand didn't care. "Why can't baby norns be already named?" Hand moaned. It realised it had another cob. Hand hovered off to the kitchen to give the milkshake vendor to a child, Kimm. She kept saying, "Kimm push vendor!" happily.
Again, Hand was annoyed to see the word BIRTH. It went over to it. An orange banana norn, also with forest legs, was standing next to Luke. They were in the Temple. "Hello, new norns," Hand sighed. "You can be called, Josh."
Josh and Luke were immediately friends. Hand hovered away to play with a cob. "Josh hi," the new norn said to Luke.
"Hello," replied Luke, smiling. "Want adventure norn?"
"Josh yes," Josh grinned.
Ever since that day they were always together. They were meant to be friends. They sometimes were apart, so Hand had to reunite them. Josh and Luke had never really knew who their parents were. They grew up, still together of course. They often sailed the sea, or fought a grendel together. They were almost invincible together.
But one day, when Josh and Luke were adolescents, Josh saw a girl. She was a banana norn, with the same legs as Josh. She was almost the same as him, but a different colour, and much more beautiful. In fact, she was the most beautiful thing Josh had ever seen. "Wow, Luke, look!" he exclaimed, as he could talk very well now. Luke, who was 10 minutes older, smiled in approval.
"Hi norn," Josh said to the girl. "What's your name?"
"Kimm," she replied, as if it was obvious.
"I'm in love with her!" Josh sighed to Luke when Kimm had gone towards the temple. Suddenly, a brown male norn pushed past Josh and walked over to Kimm. He and Kimm were about 7 hours older than Luke and Josh. The male kissed Kimm, then kisspopped her! Luckily, for Josh, she wasn't pregnant. "I'm 2D," the norn told her. Kimm smiled lovingly.
Josh hit 2D, then Luke did. "Ow!" the brown norn cried. He ran off with Kim, down a lift until they were under the temple. Josh said,"Luke! Get 2D!" So Luke ran after them, until Kimm, 2D and Luke were on a raft. "Josh!" cried Luke sadly. Kimm and 2D kissed all the way. When the norns got off, Luke had a pretzel, and thought about his best friend. He was sad. Meanwhile, Josh was upset too, just standing by the music box. He was very sad about Luke, but also about Kimm, his love. He was angry too.
Kimm and 2D were near the drink shelf. They ran off into the shower. 2D kissed her again, then there was a kisspop! This time, Kimm was pregnant! "Oh, I'm so happy!" she cried. Luke saw a lift. He pressed the button and he was off. There were lots of great cobs at the top. He was stuffing himself, when he saw some toys by the hives. He hugged them and was so happy he almost forgot about Josh, until a familiar face came in the cable car!
Meanwhile, Kimm had laid an egg. "Hey, I've just realised, that cute little fox has gone," Kimm yawned.
Josh and Luke were finally together. They were getting on for two hours now. Hand had developed the Nursing Home, where 8 hour old norns go. Kimm and 2D, who were exactly the same age were 9 hours, but Hand decided to give the happy couple another hour. Kimm's first child was born. "Hand," 2D said, "Our child is going to be called Lila."
The norn, who looked just like her mother, said her first words, "Flib dat."
They grew up, travelling the world, Luke and Josh together as always. 2D and Kimm were, although Josh still tried to get Kimm to be with him. He was very upset to find that they had two children, Lila and Elise.
Later, Kimm said to her children sadly (Josh and Luke eavesdropping), "I'm leaving with Dad. Look after yourselves."
Kimm said goodbye to a Ron norn friend, Olivia. After that, Kimm and 2D were whisked off.
Josh shouted, "Josh run!" and went. Luke ran after him. "I need Kimm!" Josh cried in the grendel tree.
"Wait..." Luke looked in the trees. "Yes! I could see someone!"
With that a female Ron-norn, Olivia's mum, came out.
"I'm Elen," she said. She was in Export for ages, and may have known the first inhabitants of this world. Elen became a good friend of Luke and Josh, and one day, by the watch tower, was another friend, a blond norn called Lipgloss.
It was too bad the boys were going soon. Lipgloss sadly died, but Elen was with then all the way.
Elise and Lila had children as well, Sapphire and Paddy, two identical banana norns. They were a wonderful family Josh wished he could be part of.
The very next day, the friends, and Elen went to the Nursing Home. "Where's Kimm? Where?" Josh said frantically.He saw his love, having fun with 2D, as usual. Luke didn't know it, but he was soon separated from his best ever friend. He and Elen were alone on the desert island. He liked Elen a lot. Suddenly,she kissed him. Luke felt a feeling which was very unusual, he had never felt it before but had often heard about it. Yes, he knew. He was in love with Elen. So he kissed her back, and she kissed him...
KISS POP!
Elen was pregnant! With Luke's baby!
"I've always dreamed about being a dad," he told her happily.
Josh was sulking in the Storeroom (computer room). "I've just got to go over to her, and kisspop her,"he told himself. And he did!
He simply ran up to her, talked for a while and kissed her. Kimm grinned and walked away.
"No norn!" Josh grabbed her and kisspoped her. And yes, she too was pregnant!
"I've finally got what I set out to achieve," Josh had never been happier."I guess you just have to set your mind to stuff. And be brave."
He rushed out to find his friend Luke. He saw him and Elen on the desert island. "Guess what?" they said simultaneously, and laughed. They told each other their news, and Albia looked sunnier than ever.
Two babies were born, Steph and Aimee. Hand had some news. "Luke, Josh," it said. "Your birth certificates."
The boys were happier, if that was possible! For a minute, anyway...
"Aaaaah!" they screamed. "Luke..." Josh started.
"Josh..." Luke began. "My mum... is... ELEN!"
"Yeah..." Josh said shakily. "Mine's KIMM!"
"Don't tell me you didn't know!" Kimm gasped.
Elen shook her head. "I didn't."
Luke and Josh went off to talk. "No matter what happens, even though I'm... really... amazed at what I found out today, we won't let love come between our friendship, right, Luke?"
"Of course, buddy." Luke hugged him. "I hope we always stay together."

And they have done. I try my best to keep them together, and even when they're apart they're thinking about each other.

Comment: Luke, Josh, Kimm, and all the other characters in this story are real, and most of them are alive. Josh and Luke really are the best norn friends ever, and almost the whole story is true.
